Dear Reprika user,

Let us start with something simple.

You want great reps. You want them fast. You want to feel confident that you are not wasting time on junk.

That is exactly what Reprika is built to do for you.

Think of this guide like a personal letter. By the end of it you will know how to sit down with Reprika, type a single prompt, and walk away with a full board of options, saved into clean collections, ready to buy or share.

How Reprika is laid out

Picture the app in three pieces.

  • A top navigation bar with links to Home, Collections, Sellers, and Blog, plus currency and chat shortcuts.
  • A central window where the chat, home feed, product pages, and blog posts live.
  • A right sidebar that shows hot items, your collections, recently viewed pieces, and your account and Discord entry point.

On mobile the same parts are there, just tighter.

  • A single row navbar with a MENU button.
  • A slide out sidebar with navigation, chats, currency, theme, Discord, and your user nav pinned at the bottom.

Once you see the app this way, Reprika stops feeling like a maze and starts feeling like a control panel.

The chat that does the hunting for you

Reprika is not a static catalog. The chat is the engine.

At the bottom of the screen you have the MultimodalInput. That is where you:

  • Type what you want, like Tabi boots in black size 42 under 250.
  • Paste or upload inspo images to search visually.
  • Switch visibility types and models.
  • Send messages to the AI.

On desktop the input sits at the bottom of the chat frame. On the home page, in the input only view, it pins near the top as you scroll so you can keep browsing while you keep asking.

How the chat turns into cards

Every time you ask for reps, Reprika:

  1. Runs a semantic search with your prompt.
  2. Normalizes the results into a shared product shape with brand, images, seller, and price.
  3. Sends those products into the items panel.
  4. Renders them as ItemCards in a masonry grid.

You type in sentences. Reprika answers in cards.

How to read an ItemCard and make decisions fast

ItemCards are the basic unit of the whole app. You will see them on the home feed, in chat results, on seller pages, and in your collections.

Each card gives you the essentials at a glance.

  • Brand and title.
  • Main image, with a small carousel when there are multiple images.
  • Price in your preferred currency, already converted.
  • Seller block with avatar, seller name, platform like Hagobuy or Sugargoo, and trust signals.
  • Collection tools to add or remove items, plus a View similar button that tells the AI to go hunting for related pieces.

Click a card and you land on a dedicated item view with more context and purchase options.

If you do nothing else, learn to trust your ItemCards. They are the scoreboard of your hunt.

Reps For You on the home feed

When you land on Home you will notice a section called:

Reps For You - Based on your rep history

Behind the scenes this section is powered by:

  • HomeItemsPanel for incremental loading from /api/items.
  • ItemsGrid for the masonry layout and skeleton loading.
  • ItemCard for the visual cards you just learned to read.

Here is how to use it like a pro.

  • Scroll and let Reprika drip more items in while skeletons fill the gaps.
  • Tap the collection controls to pipe the best finds straight into a Wishlist or Tabi Hunt collection.
  • Hit View similar whenever something feels close but not perfect and let the AI refine the search.

Collections that keep your taste organized

Collections are where your taste lives.

The /collections page shows all of your collections with counts and preview images. Click into a collection at /collections/[id] and you will see:

  • A clipped header that displays the name, visibility, and value.
  • Every item inside that collection as ItemCards.
  • A View similar panel that suggests related items around the mood of that collection.

From here you can remove items, add new ones from anywhere in the app, and keep tightening the set until it feels right.

Your collections also show up in two other places that matter.

  • The right sidebar shows previews so you can always see what you are building toward.
  • The collection dropdown on each ItemCard lets you add or remove an item with a single click.

Sellers that you can actually get to know

The /sellers page and /sellers/[sellerId] views are your window into the people behind the products.

On the seller index you get:

  • The same clipped header style that you see across the app.
  • A list of sellers with avatar, name, platform, verification, rating, and a clear View store button.

On the seller detail page you get:

  • All items from that seller rendered through SellerItemsPanel.
  • Search tuned for that seller so you can dig through their inventory instead of the whole universe.

Any time you like a card, click the seller block. Treat good sellers like anchors and work outward from them.

Currency, theme, and Discord as part of your workflow

Look to the top right of the navbar on desktop, or inside the mobile sidebar, and you will find three helpers.

  • The currency selector changes your preferred currency, stores the choice, and keeps prices consistent across pages.
  • The theme toggle lets you flip between light and dark while keeping ItemCards, sidebars, and blog cards readable.
  • The Discord link jumps you into the Reprika community where you can get QC help, show fits, and swap ideas with other hunters.

These are not side settings. They are the switches that align Reprika with the way you like to shop.

The blog that trains you while you browse

The /blog section is where guides like this one live.

On the index you get:

  • A header that mirrors the Sellers page.
  • Cards that match the rest of the app with dark backgrounds, emerald borders, and category badges.

On a post page you get:

  • MDX powered content.
  • Metadata driven layouts with hero images and categories.
  • Deep dives on topics like reading QC photos, comparing batches, and understanding how search and collections work under the hood.

You can always reach /blog from the Blog link in the navbar and mobile menu. When in doubt, read a guide, then put it into action in the chat.

A simple Reprika session from start to finish

Here is one clean way to use Reprika from the moment you open it to the moment you place an order or save a list for later.

  1. Land on Home and skim Reps For You.
  2. Add every promising item into a Wishlist collection.
  3. Ask the chat for a focused search, like find black Tabi boots under 250 in size 42.
  4. Add your top picks into a dedicated Tabi Hunt collection.
  5. Click into sellers that keep showing up with good pieces and explore their stores.
  6. Use View similar on the one or two items that really grab you.
  7. Set your currency so you can compare prices without converting in your head.
  8. Open the blog for a quick guide when you feel stuck or unsure.

By the time you reach step eight you will not be guessing. You will have a working system that you can repeat for sneakers, outerwear, jewelry, or anything else you are hunting.

Small habits that turn you into a power user

You do not need a complicated system. You just need the right habits.

  • Write specific prompts instead of vague ones. boxy cropped zip hoodie 500 to 800 grams in washed black will always beat hoodie.
  • Keep collections focused. Make one for To buy, one for Already bought, and one for QC needed.
  • Use image search whenever words feel fuzzy. Paste a fit pic or inspo image and let the AI do the matching work.
  • Treat trusted sellers like your home base. Once you find one you like, explore everything they carry and branch out from there.

Reprika is built so that your chat, your cards, and your collections all reinforce each other.

Use this guide as a playbook. Come back to it when you forget a step. Most of all, keep chatting, saving, and exploring. The more you do that, the sharper your Reprika results will get.

When you are ready, open /chat to start a new session, browse fresh finds on /items, or revisit your boards on /collections and /sellers.
